For the lay judges, they either fight for justice of flee in fear.
Its a suspense drama but the real suspense sets in when the show itself
drives you into confusion.
You thought she was, then you got convinced that she's not and finally,
the amazing twist in ending shocks you. :)

Mothers sell pornographic images of own children in shocking new trend

Among the alarming increase in child pornography cases to strike Japan in 2009 are a number of particularly disturbing incidents: Child porn made and sold by the children's own mothers.

In many cases, mothers or other relatives agreed to sell nude photographs of their children to men they met on Internet underwear shops. So far this year, at least 12 guardians have been arrested on child porn suspicions related to their own children. Once the images are distributed on the Internet, it is virtually impossible to recover them, and the National Police Agency is now cooperating with other branches of government on formulating preventative policies.

"As a mother, you committed a deed as grievous as sexual abuse against your own child, whom you are bound to protect with your very life," a Sendai District Court judge declared at the conclusion of one such case. "And yet, you gave a reason as preposterous as money for your actions. From now on, pour your love into raising your child," the judge concluded, sentencing the 23-year-old mother to one year in prison, suspended for three years.

A woman from Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, had sent her a digital camera to take nude photos and videos of her 2-year-old daughter, promising the mother "more than 1,000 yen per picture." The mother sent the images via e-mail. According to a source with the investigation, the mother received about 100,000 yen in total, while the woman from Sakai sold the images to an amateur child porn collector.

According to a senior officer, police began seeing such cases for the first time in 2009, with as many as nine mothers as well as two fathers and one sister-in-law arrested in relation to child pornography. Most of the buyers of such material exposed so far are male amateur collectors, who meet the willing parents or relatives through Internet underwear shopping sites.

There has also been once case of a couple auctioning off flash drives full of pictures of their daughter over the Internet. The husband and wife, aged 33 and 28, were arrested for taking pictures of their 7-year-old daughter in her underwear, putting the images on two flash memory sticks and listing them on an auction site, finally sending the sticks to a customer in Aichi Prefecture for 15,000 yen.

"We were able to make some easy money. We were able to sell about 900,000 yen-worth (of pictures) from February to September," the couple apparently admitted.

According to the National Police Agency, 412 people were arrested on child porn charges involving 338 children in 2008, and the total looks set to climb in 2009.

Coming from a less developed country, Steelhead starred by Jackie Chan,
illegally entered Japan in search of his lover but
only to find her with a mobster.

Along with his friends from China, they steal, participate in black market
and use other various dishonest acts to earn for a living.
Slowly from there, the movie portrays the Chinese as dishonest,
inconsiderate and greedy
On the contrary, it has portray the Japanese to be honest, self-respectful and green
While this has invited many criticism, I certainly don't think so.

At the start, it has shown how difficult illegal immigrants are living.
They can't work peacefully as police may come anytime.
They can only take underpaid job.
Neither in their situation, they can return to their homeland.
They have no choice but to resort in crime.

Then, as they got involved with mafia,
the yakuza are seen to be the most cruel and heartless.
Plus, it might also send a message to view that Tokyo
is a dangerous place.
Both the japanese and chinese have equal weightage of the wrong spotlight on them.

In overall, the intense drama, the elicit violence
and the realistic happenings in Japan made Shinjuku Incident,
a must to watch.

Amalfi, the first Japanese movie to be film in oversea, Italy.
On top of that, Sarah Brightman herself appeared to perform the number "Time to Say Goodbye" on screen.

Starring popular actress, Yuki Amami as a single mother of a daughter.
As expected, she did a great job in bringing out the
feeling of panic, confused and frustrated as a mother.
The reckless acts from her desperation to save her kidnapped daughter add in as suspense.

Caught between a mission of ministerial visit and kidnapping, starring Yuji Oda
as a calm and capable diplomat even good in solving police cases
but has bad communication skills.

The weird character matching, the development of the story
has similar style as other Japanese movies while
overall plot and actions are very American-like.
The suspense is great for the 1st half of the movie
as mysteries keep on surfacing.
But I can start to see the big picture, the conspiracy at the 2nd half
which could have been improved.
Nevertheless, it is still thrilling.

Vengeance seeks revenge.
Amalfi carries a message to politician who are
corrupted, dishonest and selfish acts which could harm innocents emotionally.
Terrorists can be easily created by politicians themselves
when people who mistreated and bear hatred against it.

1. PRECIOUS ONE
A song filled with sorrow and painfulness. As opposed to her upbeat style despite the nature of the sadness in its lyrics like Paradise Lost, this song has a mixture of ballad and pop. Something similar to Shin Ai by Nana Mizuki. It is a nice song that has shown her beautiful voice. You can feel a bit of sorrow from the song even if you don't know the lyrics but it doesn't seem to be on par with Shin Ai yet. Nevertheless, ballad or pop-lovers will like this song.

2. Ai to Knife
Starts with with a slow melody yet fast pace of singing and shortly afterwards, it builds up the tempo with the pop music. In between, the tempo fluctuates as a few forms of singing sets in. I can't really describe it, I always find her pop difficult to describe anyway. But I like the fluctuation. This would consider to be quite a noisy song so yes, not Cpop fan's cup of tea.

3. animand~agitato
'The Holy Hero is off to slay the devil in hell' will be the best to describe the song. Exotic I would say. The singing doesn't really stand out but it blends in well with its 'holy-feel' music that gives you the thrilling effect. Good to try :)

4. Stellar Stage
The fourth song of the single is totally an anti-climax of the 3rd one. A typical cute song that kills all your emotions you had from listening to the 1st 3 songs. Not entirely a disappointment, at least get to her baby singing.

A single with good mix of genres. My rating: 4.5stars/5
I recommand the 1st 3 songs of the single.

Minorin's previous single, Tomorrow's Chance has delivered such a cheerful, full of hope and hyperactive feeling then here comes PRECIOUS ONE that is a totally different style. I'm looking forward to the new songs in her new album in Feb 20120 =)

Japan trip

DAY 1

Gokusen The Movie.

I watched it during the night flight to Japan.

The plot is more exciting, included more fights, yankumi getting beat up! haha

and best of all, there are students from all the 3series of gokusen.

Her rival is up against mafia whose leader running an election.

but the ending is expected, the fighting style remain the same.

I won't say its bad but...its just an improved version of the drama series.

Our 1st stop, Making of Washi Paper!

Basically, its a experience of hand-making real paper.

Well the paper is not the paper we use to write, its just weird-looking more solid paper.

They have a 'white solution' prepared or us and all we have to do is to pour it into some net to drain out the water.

The residue is like cotton. (wet cotton) then we decorate it by adding colours and colour papers.

Lastly, they help us to dry it and laminate for us to bring home. Sweet right?

In actual fact, the process is much more complicated..if i were to explain it everyone's gonna fall asleep LoL

A few things to know before going to Japan

1. If you have something to buy in mind, do not hold high hopes on getting it.

2. When you are asked to buy souvenir, tell them, there's only food unless you are frigging rich

3. Japanese are cleanliness+tidiness lovers, if your hair isn't combed, clothes ain't tidy, you prolly get stared at.

4. Food there is expensive, 1k yen per meal unless you do the cooking.

5. Even you have romming, your phone won't work unless your card and phone are 3G

6. The plug there is like China's, so get an adapter or else get regret.

7. The soba there is A MUST TO TRY

8. You might not even have to chance to taste their sushi

9. Japanese girls ARE GOOD IN DRESSING UP xD

10. Most of the Japanese (the 20s) had plastic surgery, it is widely accepted.

Tokyo Sonata

Had watched this movie with the sg01 peeps during promo period.

It was the most profound movie I had ever watched~ It focus on an ordinary family, showcasing the problems they faced in life which slowly disintegrate the family.

It firstly shows the Japanese society, where it has been hit by depression resulting in a mass frying of fishes.

Father's Secret

The first victim of the show, the father got laid off from admin-related job and is desperately saving money while looking for a new job to support his family. Along the way, it shows how shameful for Japanese husbands to be jobless to an extent where they will polish up their lying skills to keep the secret. He come across many jobs interview but they are either contagious to his pride or rejected for not able to be on par with competitors from the world.

Mother's Secret

A typical Japanese housewife where she has to be in-charge of the children and house work as well as to prepare the meals for the family without complaints. With many complicated troubles buried in her, there isn't anyone who will be good enough to hear and understand these troubles. Without doubt, a high tendency to leave the family. Then there is this chance when the house got robbed when she's alone.

Older Son's Secret

Having to just reach adulthood, he want to put all his effort and might to do what he believes in. Not good in studies, hang out with gangs, at the same time thinking about doing something really useful. And there he goes, starting his rebellion against his father to become a soldier that aid U.S war.

Younger Son's Secret

Another who can't fit into the family and have not much interest in his studies. It just happens he want to learn piano after seeing a girl play once. When he requested for piano lesson, his dad violently objected. Insisting on learning piano, he uses his pocket money to secretly take up piano lesson. Eventually, his father found out. Then, he did something absurd that got himself into prison.

The story ends with everyone coming back together from the loads of happening they had experienced in one long night where nobody knew each other was out the whole night. Nobody asked about the mess of the house, dirtiness of each wearing and life continues.

The title: Tokyo Sonata

This title just doesn't seem to fit in anywhere except 15% of the film has something got to do with music. This is how I feel about the title. Obviously, it takes place in Tokyo. As for Sonata, the whole film is a sonata itself. Yes, the movie is a music piece. It's all about how you interpret this sonata, the Sonata of Life in Tokyo.

The film was directed well with good settings that leads you into a world of mystery. The plot has shown the reality of Japan and most of them are also applicable to everybody's life. These are the messages I've interpreted. In our life, there will be bound to have obstacle that you have to overcome. There are times, you just feel like escaping by committing suicide. There are times where the unexpected came that give you chances to run away from your problems by following the flow of the happening. There are times where you have encounter countless of agonizing truth at one go. There are times where your emotions and feelings corrupt your character, resulting in dishonesty acts and tend to commit crimes. And lastly... just change a bit of your perception, forsake a bit of your pride and be a little more open as well as a optimistic, life will change dramatically.

Oh my goodness...I almost couldn't believe such a band exist in the Japan music industry...
Is there such a 'omg itsa whole class of a girls school!' band in other countries or its only Japan?
SKE48, formed in 2008 currently has 6 trainees and 16 members(Team S) Youngest member is 12 (what the tarnation! P6?!)
I know I know, there's still Morning Musume which once had 13members so this shouldn't be considered to be a big deal. muahahahha....be surprised. SKE48 is just a branch from the main band!! LOL I brought you...
